Sales Manager

The Sr Account Manager will be tasked with being the primary point of contact for our B2B partners. Zappos is known for our legendary customer service, and this role will exemplify that. The Sr Account Manager’s day to day work will be focused on communicating with clients, resolving any issues that arise, growing their businesses and building a deep understanding of their plans, needs and trajectory. With client service at the forefront, this role is expected to go above and beyond to be a great partner to our portfolio of B2B and B2B2C clients, and to be well-versed in both their strategic planning, as well as the complexities and nuances of their safety footwear, uniform and apparel programs.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGDelivering exceptional customer service to a portfolio of Zappos at Work clients and customersBuilding strong relationships and connections with client partners to understand their needsAnticipating and delivering solutions to build an excellent experience for clientsProviding recommendations to both clients and the Zappos at Work team that grow the B2B and B2B2C experiencesIdentifying areas of opportunity to expand the clients’ Zappos at Work business and relationship, pitching and executing on these growth plans to build client trustCommunicating efficiently across leadership, sales, tech and operations to ensure client needs are metMeeting with clients on a regular occurrence, both face to face and virtually, to stay on top of the business needsExecuting on both day to day and long term asks across the client portfolio to help maintain and grow salesWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE5+ years of client management experienceExperience managing complex client relationships with several partners at onceExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsResponsiveness, a willingness to learn and adapt, and a detail-oriented natureA demonstrated history of growing accounts and building relationships with partnersA set of strong quantitative and analytical skills that would lend to forecasting, analysis and KPI monitoring, as a way to keep a strong pulse on existing business and new opportunitiesBachelor’s DegreeMicrosoft Office Proficient, especially within Powerpoint and ExcelDeep experience in weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews, along with delivering on action itemsA bias for action and a history of delivering objective resultsA sense of humor and an ability to collaborate with people from a variety of diverse backgroundsSome travel may be requiredZappos is committed to help foster an environment where we can celebrate and embrace our diversity and each person's individuality so that people can bring their whole selves to work.
